Do you have what it takes to win the Slaughter Cup?
Rally a team of four and test your skills at the SAR Games 2025 on October 2 at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum. Compete against other SAR teams from across the country for a shot at bragging rights and the prestigious Slaughter Cup.
Did you know?
The Cup is named in honour of Roderick William “Bill” Slaughter (1939–2013). Slaughter was a pilot, civil servant, and a lifelong champion of flight safety and SAR in Canada. Born in Winnipeg, Bill served as a jet pilot, lead soloist for the Golden Centennaires, and later as Brigadier General in the RCAF. He went on to lead national flight safety initiatives at Transport Canada and retired as Executive Director of the National Search and Rescue Secretariat in 2001.
